IETM collaborates with a number of national and international institutions in various academic activities. These include, institutional collaboration for faculty and student exchange, workshops and conferences, joint research projects and publications, both independently.The academic alliance program works at several levels: it includes universitybased research parks and incubators, short and longterm research agreements, and faculty and industry personnel exchange programs. We also offer the popular Research Scholar Program that attracts doctoral research scholars from all over India.
The Division of Student Affairs at IETM has identified the importance of our units collaborating with academic units to promote the success of our students. As the Department of Housing and Residence Life, we value scholastic environments and opportunities that enhance academic success. Recognizing that academic collaborations support such success, we encourage intentional interactions or integration of residential education efforts with the educational efforts of academic units. In addition, collaboration with worldclass education institutions can raise the standards of universities in developing countries through exposure to teaching, research, services and management methods. International cooperation, experience and exposure enables new researchers and educationists to expand their work, publish it in recognised professional journals, and present it at professional meetings. At the student level, institutional collaboration allows for an exchange of students that benefit both from the faculty exposure as well as academic culture and environment.
